Use this module to import AutoCAD or IntelliCAD blocks into Block Explorer libraries.
The Block Explorer Select Source wizard provides three methods you can chose to import blocks into Block Explorer:

1. Folder
Structure
Click the Next button to select the source
folder.
Block Collector will pre-process selected folder with all
subfolders and dwg files. A selection is displayed as a folder tree in the left
pane.
Block Collector will try to determine Destination
and will prompt user to confirm it. Destination folder is determined based on
the selected folder.
Click on a folder in Selected Folders pane
to start block collection.
If you want Block Collector to include all
folders, click top folder.
If top folder doesn’t contain any blocks click on
button to start collection of
subsequent folders.
Otherwise click on any folder to begin the collection
process.
You can interrupt collection process at any time by
clicking
button.
To finish collecting selected folder,
click the folder again.
To resume collecting whole tree, select top node
(in our example Pipe Fittings) and click
button.
If you decide to exit Block
Collector and not all selected blocks were collected, you will be prompted:

When Block
Collector is opened next time and the same folder is selected as source, you may
choose to continue from the last place at which the previous process was
interrupted.
2. Dwg
Files
Click the Next button to select block files
from desired folder.
To select multiple files click on a first file and
then use Shift + Click on the last file. To deselect a file, Ctrl + Click on
it.
Block Collector
will pre-process selected files and display their status.
Select Destination folder
and click
button to start
block collection.
3. Current Drawing
When the
Next button is clicked, Block Collector pre-processes the current drawing and
displays all blocks found.
Select Destination folder and click

collection.
