Insert or X-ref Active Block
This module is displayed when a block is Inserted or X-referenced
Main toolbar:
- Click on image tile to display Active Block Settings
module for current block
Next — insert or X-ref another
instance of current block
Delete — delete current block
instance
Modify — display Modify Block Definition for current
block
Undo - undo previous action
Refresh — click this button when
current block was modified using AutoCAD tools
Help — display module help
Insert Manipulation controls:
X-Flip — mirror block
horizontally
Y-Flip — mirror block vertically
Explode- click to explode block
Move — move block
Spin 90 — rotate block 90 deg
counterclockwise
Switch - push to zoom in close on current
block, or release to return to previous magnification

or 
Shape Trim — apply Trim Shape
if defined. When not defined (
image
displayed) click 
button to define it
(see Active Block Settings — Trim
Shape tab)
Transformer - switch to
preconfigured transformer to apply its Scale, Rotation and Attribute (see
Active Block Settings —
Transformers tab) 
Scale — click on scale value to
modify it 
Rotation — click on rotation value
to modify it
Attributes — click on attributes
value to modify it
Match block — match Scale, Rotation and
Attributes of a selected block from current drawing. Click on Select to activate
drop-down selection:
OSNAP — click on Osnap value to
modify it
Insert Properties controls:
Apply Standards- when standard is
defined for current drawing
(see Standards
module).
When checked applies standard properties to current block and
disables individual properties modification to enforce drawing standards
Layer — select or enter a layer for
current block 
Color — select a color for
current block (recommended setting is ByLayer to allow layer to
control this property)
LineType — select a linetype for
current block (recommended setting is ByLayer to allow layer to
control this property)
Match property — match picked entity’s
Layer, Color and Linetype
